October Open House & Apple Festival—Join the Fun

Dear Friends,

As we savor the scent of apples and grapes in the crisp September air, we’re gearing up for one of our most beloved annual traditions: the Open House & Apple Festival, happening October 12-13 from 11am to 5pm. Mark your calendars, because this event is open to all—free, family-friendly, and full of autumn magic!

Taste freshly pressed cider made the old-fashioned way at our annual Open House & Apple Festival

We’ll have open artist studios, live demonstrations, fresh cider pressing, and delicious farmhouse lunches. You can explore the orchard, take home some of our homegrown produce, and enjoy artist talks and performances throughout the weekend. This year, we’re excited to welcome the Naples Valley Art Collective, adding even more local art and live music to the festivities. Bring your family, friends, and curiosity—there’s something for everyone!

In Other News…

Lecture on the Lawn

Don’t miss our September 29th at 2pm event featuring Curt and Nani Nehring Bliss and a musical performance by Dead Metaphor Cabaret. Last year, this was one of our most popular events, so be sure to arrive early to grab a spot. It promises to be an inspiring afternoon of words and music. Free and open to the public!

Blacksmith Shop Revived

The forges in our blacksmith shop are back in action! Thanks to the hard work of local metal artist Tony Moretti and our team, we’re excited to announce that blacksmithing workshops are on the horizon. Stay tuned for details—you won’t want to miss the chance to work with fire and metal!

Garden Abundance

The garden is overflowing, the orchards are ripe, and the arbor is laden with fruit! Our crew is in a race against the deer, squirrels, and chipmunks to preserve it all before winter. From canning tomatoes to pickling cucumbers to making cider and our regional favorite, grape pies, they’re working hard to make sure the bounty of the season is stored away—just like the critters stashing their nuts! The whole team is pitching in, canning and preserving the taste of the season in our kitchen.

Navajo Weaving Workshop Rescheduled

We’re excited to welcome Marilou Schultz for a Navajo Weaving Workshop, now taking place March 8-11, 2025. We hope you’ll join us then for this special opportunity to learn from a master artist.
